Orlando Hare Obituary

Orlando Gregory Hare, 54, of Trenton NJ, passed away suddenly on January 13th, 2023. Orlando was born on January 28, 1968, to Mary (Cottman) and Barry Hare Sr. in Neptune, NJ.

He graduated from Neptune High School in 1986 and went on to study Quality Control at a trade school in Tulsa, OK. Shortly after graduating he relocated and became a lifelong resident of Trenton, NJ. Orlando was employed at Rumsey Electric for many years.

Orlando was predeceased by his parents Mary and Barry Hare Sr., maternal grandparents, Louise and Wendell Cottman, and paternal grandparents Viola and Walter Hare. He is survived by his brother Barry Hare Jr. (Gracie) of Lyburn, WV, and sisters Katrina Hare of Baltimore MD, Kendra Hare of Lakewood, NJ, and Kimberly Hare of Houston, TX, he is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Tyika, Andrew, Valencia, Gregory (Ashley) all of Maryland, Tiffany Collins (Garland), Shana Vance (Chad), Marissa, and Shauntae all of West Virginia, Prentiss of Ohio, Dionjonay, and Preston, both of New Jersey, Larissa of North Carolina, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces, great nephews, extended family, and friends.

Orlando was a very reserved and low-key guy that would give you the shirt off his back. He was known for always helping out and blessing others in need with hopes or a request to “pay it forward”. Orlando also enjoyed cooking, watching movies, and having long conversations to catch up on what was going on with the family.

BROTHER
You gave no one a last farewell,
nor ever said goodbye.
You were gone before we knew it,
and only God knows why.
A million times we’ll miss you,
a million times we’ll cry.
If love alone could have saved you,
you never would have died.
In life we loved you dearly,
in death we love you still.
In our hearts you hold a place,
no one else can fill.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
but you didn’t go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
We will meet again someday
I know in a better place.
I thank God he made you our brother
While you were here on earth.

The family would like to thank everyone for the love and support you’ve given.
We’d also like to thank you for your prayers and words of encouragement through this difficult time.
May God Bless you.
